Mazapán's You Have To Burn The Rope (2008) is a brilliant meta-game that comes off as a simultaneous homage and parody of every game to come before it. Though it might take some time to beat, the prize for victory is well worth the effort. Surprisingly, the game can be quite tricky, but it offers just enough hints to get you going in the right direction.
Mazapán is Kian Bashiri, a game programmer from Stockholm, Sweden who has been developing games since 2006 and is currently interning at EA DICE. His personal website can be found at http://www.mazapan.se/.
